Over his 10-year career as a full-time artist\, he has worked with a wide range of clients including BBC Sport\, Chanel\, Red Bull\, Channel 4 and Nike. \nIn this workshop\, you’ll work alongside Dave to help create a large-scale artistic map of Oldham borough\, capturing both the town’s rich heritage and its vibrant present day. Through drawing\, storytelling and creativity\, participants will contribute their own memories\, favourite places and personal connections to Oldham\, ensuring the artwork truly reflects the people of OLdham. \nThe finished map will be proudly displayed in Oldham Market and officially unveiled at Nostalgic Oldham on 19 September. \nEveryone is welcome to take part – whether you’ve lived in Oldham all your life or have recently made it your home\, whether you’re young or old\, artist or beginner. DESCRIPTION: \n\n\nPick up our booklet containing a brief history of the church and tour the building at your own pace. Admire the original three-sided gallery with its box-type pews\, small chancel and central West Tower. The tower is flanked by porches with swept coped parapets and ball finials. The top stage of the Tower is in the Italianate style with arcades and clock faces. The Historic Graveyard is open all day. \nThere is a slight downhill gradient on the stone path to the entrance of the church. Visitors should take care as some of the gravestones adjacent to the church entrance are smooth and can be hazardous in wet weather. Warning notices are posted. \nThere is street parking on Woods Lane and Nudger Green. \nOpen Monday to Sunday 10am-4pm throughout the Oldham Histories Festival.
