DESCRIPTION: \n\n\n35 Years of Peshkar is part of our regular programme of archives displays. All our archives displays are free to access during the opening hours at Oldham Archives. \nPeshkar Productions started life in 1991 with a meeting at Werneth Park Music Room. Its original aim was to provide a platform for Oldham’s South Asian Community to explore ideas and issues through drama. This archives display highlights two of Peshkar’s early productions – New Horizons and Masala Girls – through programmes\, flyers\, press releases and media coverage from the Peshkar Archive. \nDrop in Monday to Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-1pm.
