It’s the ten year anniversary of Oldham Digital Festival and we’d love you to join us to celebrate all things digital

FREE activities for all ages include:

Creative workshops from our partners Peshkar, take part in lots of interactive digital art, browse the library and explore the exhibitions from Peshkar’s Young Digitals Festival YDF26.

Digital Drop In 11am – 12.30

Have a chat with Liam about all things techy, and get help with your digital devices and apps. Drop in – no need to book

VR 11am – 12.30 age 10+

Digital Playground 1pm – 3pm

Dive into the Digital Playground, an interactive space where everyone can explore and play with tech toys. Code Spheros and Micro:bit robots to navigate mazes or move buggies, turn bananas into a “piano” using Makey Makey circuits.

The littlest mini-coders can draw and play with Loti and Blu Bots and race the robot mice. Explore the AI Art Studio to transform paper sketches into 3D characters, investigate local “ghost” sightings at the Oldham Coliseum and experiment with Quick Draw. From creating stop-motion movies to conducting a virtual Blob Opera, this festival offers a hands-on look at the future of digital creativity.

Retro Gaming with Pixel Bash 11am – 3pm

Get your game on! Play retro games and challenge your mates to a StreetFighter battle or rescue a princess from Bowser!

Introduction to AI

Curious about AI? What are the best tools? How to use effective prompts and how to be aware of AI produced images and information. Find out more with Chris from Oldham Lifelong Learning

Gaming on a bike and chat all things techy with Inclusive Bytes
