Oldham Artist Network

Oldham Artist Network is a meeting place for creative people to gain advice and network with other professionals working in the creative industries. Local artists and makers, voluntary and community sector workers and individuals with an interest and passion to work creatively in their local community are all welcome.

The meet ups are the ideal place to find out more information about opportunities, funding, further events plus link up with like-minded artists.

Artist Newsletter

Are you an artist or creative with a link to the local area? Sign up to join our artist database, and receive the monthly artist newsletter to find out about all the latest funding advice and creative opportunities. Artist Advice Sessions

The Creativity and Culture team aims to support you and to help bring your creative ideas to life. For a one-to-one advice session on funding or to discuss project proposals/ideas, and more, please contact: culture.team@oldham.gov.uk

Artist Access Grants

Artist Access Grants are available to Oldham artists and creatives to enable them to access learning and research opportunities.  These grants are available between £100-£500.

Application rounds will be open throughout the year and applicants will be notified shortly after the application date as to whether they have been successful or not. Round one closed 30 June 2026.

Gallery Oldham – Gallery One

Supporting local artists and makers is a priority for Gallery Oldham. Gallery One, formerly our Community Gallery shows a wide range of exhibitions by groups and individuals with links to Oldham. If you are interested in submitting an exhibition proposal for consideration please see the link above for further information.

Live@thelibrary Open

We are offering support for new and emerging work through our new Live@Open programme. We are offering up to £500 and three days rehearsal space to help support artists in the development of their work. To receive more information on how to apply contact Kirsty.Green@oldham.gov.uk
