Over the past fifteen years we have presented almost 100 different exhibitions in the Gallery 4 community space.

We have featured work by a wide range of groups and individuals.  

All Around The World

Linda Edwards

21 March – 30 May

This exhibition is a vivid journey through colour and culture — from Brazil’s warmth to Arctic stillness, crowned by Northern Lights over Saddleworth. Immersive paintings and suspended globes invite wonder, designed to stir the senses and awaken a longing to explore.

Gallery Four is moving to Gallery One.

Gallery Four is being relocated to Gallery One. Future exhibitions can be found in Gallery One.

Waterfall Of Kites

27 June – 29 August

Would you like to exhibit in Gallery 4?

This exhibition is a vibrant cascade of colour and movement, part of Kushi Festival 2026. Led by Manasamitra and Sue Warpole, three Oldham artists and communities have created 100 kites and suspended like a waterfall, inspired by South Asian heritage and shared traditions.

Wild Lives

5 September – 7 November

This exhibition celebrates the beauty, character and vulnerability of animals. Anne’s mixed‑media and oil portraits are full of colour, energy and personality. The collection features endangered wildlife, working animals and often‑overlooked species.

Exhibition Proposals

Gallery 4 Exhibition proposals are always welcome. The space is for anyone who lives, works or studies in Oldham.

Anyone who is interested in submitting an exhibition proposal for consideration please download, read thoroughly and fill in the following proposal documents;

Gallery 4 Selection Panel

There is also opportunity to be part of the panel that chooses our Gallery 4 programme. The panel meet up to twice a year and look through the submissions to choose a diverse exhibition programme.
