Oldham Council’s Histories Festival and Heritage Open Days run from 6 to 15 September.
From talks to walks and open days, there’s plenty to discover about Oldham’s heritage. If you are curious about the history around you, this is your chance to find out more about the people, places, buildings and stories across the borough.
There are familiar faces among this year’s programme, but we’ve also added some new events.
Most events are free and drop-in, but some need to be booked. You’ll find information about each event in the HLA What’s On calendar under Festivals & Outdoor Events, including dates, times and how to book. You can also search for Oldham Histories Festival.
Look out, too, for our Oldham Histories Festival and Heritage Open Days brochure, available from your local branch library.
If you don’t want to book online, contact the Oldham Local Studies and Archives team to ask a member of staff to book you a place.
We’ll look forward to seeing you in September!
