Khushi Festival, our annual festival of happiness, is back!
Saturday 3 August 2024 – Oldham Library – 10:30am-5pm
Khushi Festival will be taking over Oldham Library for a day packed with performances, workshops, games, music, and, of course, happiness! Challenge your friends and family to some fun games, join us for a cup of chai, get crafty, and so much more!
The day will also include opportunities to:
- Watch performances by The West Oldham Chai Ladies and The Indian Association.
- Be dazzled by the brand new dance performance piece Mughal Miniatures: The Elephant and The Drummer by Sonia Sabri Company.
- Pick up a zine filled with poetry from The Werneth Primary School Chai Ladies.
- Explore our exhibitions created by Oldham Greenhill Community Sports and Recreation Club and Yuvanis Foundation.
- Join us for an energetic dance show by Natraj Dance Academy
- Sit back and enjoy some South Asian inspired stories by Zoe Iqbal
- Take part in beatboxing workshop with Faz Shah
