GO! With Manchester Science and Industry Museum

Explore and experiment with Explainers from the Science and Industry Museum on Saturday 12 October from 13.00 – 15.00. Our 175 Exhibition displays the first printed Oldham Chronicle newspaper and lots of other objects that celebrate 175 years of Oldham being a borough.
Get creative and explore the people and processes behind the history of making cotton cloth in Manchester. Weave paper patterns, get hands on with a portable loom and create your own repeating patterns inspired by the museum’s textiles collection.
This is a free, drop-in session – no booking required.
Suitable for ages 4+, children should always be accompanied by an adult.
