Northern England. 1951.The Festival of Britain is in full swing. Post-war austerity is losing its bite and things are starting to change. But for Miss Julie, they aren’t changing fast enough. Originally commissioned and produced for the Hyde Festival Theatre Company in 2013, Rob Johnston’s adaptation subsequently toured the North West. This revival reunites some of the original cast.
