Batik Greeting Cards with Soleil Dee

Batik is the art of creating designs on fabrics using resist techniques. In this new workshop you will work with an artist to design and create your own greetings cards
£20 per person – includes all materials and light refreshments included.

Approximate timings
18.15 – Arrival and refreshments
18.30 – 18.40 – Start & introduction to me & materials/ what we’re doing today
18.40 – 19.00 – Up to gallery spaces for sketching idea development
19.00 – 19.30 – Batik taster (small piece of cotton/paper to explore techniques)
19:30 – 20:15 – Create six small pieces on cotton, painting and drying time.
20:30 – Take home items inc. blank greetings cards they can be attached to once dried.
