The Old Lane Through Oldham Walk

Follow the pre-turnpike lane through Oldham to Rhodes Bank on an informative walk led by Jeremy Sutcliffe for Oldham Histories Festival.
The old turnpike road in Oldham appears on a map dated 1756 and meanders through the town centre. Tour guide Jeremy Sutcliffe will share the history of the road and reveal the sections that remain.
Meet at the Peace Garden at the corner of George Street and Union Street, Oldham.
