Werneth Park Walk

This circular walk led by Jeremy Sutcliffe will explore the story of one of Oldham’s historic parks. Spread over nine hectares, created in 1846, Werneth Park contains buildings associated with the Platt and, particularly, the Lees families who made their money from the textile engineering industry which employed many of Oldham’s workers.
