Get connected to Gallery Oldham
Gallery Oldham has launched a new digital guide. It features a wide range of content to improve the experience of both visitors to the gallery and those exploring from home. The free guide is now available on the Bloomberg Connects app, alongside hundreds of other cultural institutions from around the world.
Users of the app will find more than 50 items from the Gallery collections, bringing the stories behind the objects to life. Visitors to the building can also use the app to follow a map, explore the displays in more detail and discover fascinating insights into some of the collection’s highlights.
The app also features an audio tour created by Gallery staff, who have each picked some of their favourite objects. These include the Rothwell Car, made in Oldham in 1915, the Oldham Panorama photograph capturing the town in 1876, and several artworks from the collections.
We are delighted to add Gallery Oldham to the range of cultural attractions available on the Bloomberg Connects app. Our visitors will enjoy using the app to explore our building and learn even more about the amazing objects in our care.
