Freelance Archive Assistant
This is an exciting time at Oldham Heritage, Libraries & Arts as we make plans to move our Archives and Local Studies collections to a new purpose-built store and relocate our public services to a new town centre site in 2025. We are looking for a freelance Archive Assistant to contribute to this project and work with our wider Collections Team.
This freelance role will assist with the ongoing collection care, documentation, packing, relocation and decanting of collections. It will support our Exhibitions and Collections Co-ordinator (Archives) to carry out much of the day-to-day work on these collections.
This opportunity is for a freelancer working 3 days per week at a rate of £120 per day. The initial appointment would be for 9 months.
