Oldham Heritage Libraries and Arts is committed to working sustainably. We aim to reflect this in our programming and in the way that we behave.

The HLA strategy sets out our aim to ensure we are environmentally responsible, and that we develop, embed and celebrate sustainable practices.

This website has a reduced carbon footprint through green hosting and design principles that include reduced usage and sizes of images.

Design Oldham Libraries New Library Card – Competition

Competition time! We are inviting children and adults to get creative and design our new membership card. The winning entries will have their design printed onto Oldham Libraries new and sustainable library cards.

The competition will be launched at all Oldham Libraries on Saturday 13 July and entry forms will be available throughout Summer. Please collect and return all entries to any of our participating libraries. The deadline for entries will be on Saturday 7 September.

When completing your entry please be careful to stay in the lines. Anything outside of the marked area cannot be printed. Please include an adult name and contact telephone number on each entry form. 

We will be choosing a winning adult and child, who will also receive £25 in Waterstone vouchers. Good Luck! We can’t wait to see your designs.
